This game appears on the Protoball Games Tabulation [WNY Table] compiled by Craig Waff. It was reported in the Buffalo Daily Courier  and the Buffalo Morning Express on August 31, 1860.  The Courier suggested that the Hamilton Club was the first club in the Canadas to adopt Association rules.
