The Athletic club of San Francisco, came up as far as Reno on the same train that we did to go to Salt Lake to play a challenge game of base ball with the Deseret club. Both of these clubs have a high repute, and the Athletics have never been beaten. Deseret was the original name of the settlement, and comes from the word for bee in the Book of Mormon.
