John Butler was General Manager of the Peoria Chiefs (Midwest) from 1988 to 1990. He has since been part of the management team with the Peoria Rivermen hockey team, and is owner and co-founder of Central Illinois Arena Management, the managers of the US Cellular Coliseum in Bloomington, Illinois[1]. In all these activities he's worked closely with Mike Nelson, his successor as the Chiefs' GM.
