This template is for the career listing of coaches at all professional levels. In use, it looks like this:

{{person-coached-for | team=1984 Minnesota (American) | role=bullpen coach}}

It currently accepts two parameters:

  • team: The team the person was coach for, in the format year teamname (league). The team string should create a hyperlink to a team page on the wiki; if it fails, you may have mistyped the string.
  • role: The coach's role (please use lower case). Just coach is often sufficient, but this allows differentiating a pitching coach from a third base coach from a roving infield instructor.

I consider this a temporary design. See, and please participate in, the discussion for this template. Thanks.
