Donald Ray Barnett is single and lives in Fresno, California per the 1952 California League Gold Book (Fourth Edition).  He graduated from Washington Union High School in 1948 and participated in baseball, basketball and track.  He is a graduate of Fresno State College and played varsity baseball and was named to the College All-American team.  He works in a service station during the off-season.  He pitched for the Merced Bears, California Mohawks and Atwater Packers semi-pro clubs.
