Donald E. Van Buskirk is married and lives in Sacramento, California per the 1952 Pioneer League Index. His nationality is Dutch. He graduated from Oakland Technical High School and played baseball, basketball and football. He is a graduate of Grant Technical College where he played baseball, football and basketball. He attends Chico State College during the off-season. His hobby is attending dances and movies "With My Wife". He served in the U. S. Army paratroops for three years. While playing for an Army team in 1949 he collected 7 hits in 7 at bats in one game. Information is from the 1952 Pioneer League Index.
