John Wiley Stratton is single and lives in Oakland, California per the 1952 California League Gold Book (Fourth Edition). His nationality is Irish-English-German. He graduated from Oakland Technical High School in 1950 and played baseball. He attends Santa Rosa Junior College during the off-season. He played on the Bill Erwin American Legion team who were the 1949 National champions. He played on the Elko Indians semi-pro team who were the 1950 Nevada semi-pro champions.
