William Louis Gabler is single and lives in Saint Louis, Missouri per the 1951 California League Gold Book (Third Edition). His nationality is German. He attended Central High School in Saint Louis and played baseball. He served in the U. S. Navy and was discharged in 1949. He holds the California League record for most double plays by a first baseman with 129 in 1950.
