William Bernard Kahler is single and lives in San Mateo, California per the 1952 California League Gold Book (Fourth Edition). His nationality is Irish-German. He graduated from San Mateo High School in 1950 and played baseball, basketball and football. He was named to the all-star team of the Peninsula Athletic League in all three sports. His most enjoyable experience in baseball was hitting his first grand-slam home run.
