Richard Edward Pedrotti is single and lives in Los Angeles, California per the 1952 California League Gold Book (Fourth Edition). His nationality is Italian. He graduated from Loyola High School in 1949 and played baseball. He attended Pasadena City College and played baseball. His hobbies are hunting and fishing. Before entering pro ball he played for Rosabell Plumbers semi-pro club, which is operated by his father. Both his father and uncle are former professional players. In one C.I.F. high school playoff game he hit three home runs. Although joining the San Jose club in mid-season he hit 13 home runs, second high for the club.
