Warren (Sandy) Harry Sandel is married and has one son, Larry age 8. He lives in Lynwood, California per the 1951 California League Gold Book (Third Edition). He graduated from Huntington Park High School in 1938 and played baseball and basketball. He is a hod carrier during the off-season. His hobby is music. He served in the U. S. Coast Guard for three years. His biggest thrill in baseball was shutting out the New York Yankees for three innings in an exhibition game in 1942.
