Whitney (Mr. Serious) John Ulrich is single and lives in Richmond, California per the 1951 California League Gold Book (Third Edition). His nationality is German. He graduated from Concordia High School in 1949 and played baseball. He attended Concordia College for one year and captained the varsity baseball team. He is a driver for Ford Motor Company during the off-season. In his first professional start he hurled a two hit, 2-1 win.
