Robert Lee Crane is married and has one daughter, Constance who was born in March, 1952. He lives in Flint, Michigan per the 1952 California League Gold Book (Fourth Edition). His nationality is French-Indian. He graduated from Central High School in 1951 and played baseball and basketball. He is a factory stock-picker during the off-season. In 1949 he won the Ki-Ki Cuyler Award as the "Most Valuable Player" in the Michigan-American Legion Tournament.
