  • The Midwest League played a 126 game, split-season schedule which began on April 26 and ended on August 30. The first half ended on June 27.
  • An All-Star Game was played on July 13 between a Midwest League All-Star team and first-half champion Wisconsin Rapids; the All-Stars won by a 6-5 score[1].
  • Appleton defeated Wisconsin Rapids 2-0 in the all-northern-Wisconsin post-season championship playoff.
