  • The Midwest League played a 140 game, two-division, split-season schedule which began on April 8 and ended on September 2. The first half ended on June 18.
  • An All-Star Game was played on June 20 between All-Star Teams representing the league's Northern and Southern divisions. The South won by a 3-2 score.
  • A two-tier championship playoff was held after the season. The best-of-five championship round was won by Cedar Rapids.
  • Total 1994 attendance: 2,469,999.
