Dykes died in July 1924 in Rutland VT.  When Montreal arrived in Rutland for a series, he was sent immediately to the hospital, where he died two days later of pluerisy.  He was 27 years old and from Scranton, PA.

Dykes died in July 1924 in Rutland VT. When Montreal arrived in Rutland for a series, he was sent immediately to the hospital, where he died two days later of pluerisy. He was 27 years old and from Scranton, PA. [1]
