- Won 10 straight for Seattle in 1948; he started that season by losing 17-4 to Hollywood and then didn't lose another contest until early in July.
- Led the 1939 Southern Association in earned run average with 2.48 and shutouts with 6.
- Was tied for the lead for the most games lost with 19 in the 1949 Pacific Coast League.
