- The Midwest League played a 140 game, two-division, split-season schedule which began on April 6 and ended on September 4. The first half ended on June 18.
- An All-Star Game was played on June 20 between All-Star Teams representing the league's Eastern and Western divisions (Burlington was counted as an Eastern team). The West won by a 5-3 score[1].
- A three-tier championship playoff was held after the season. The best-of-five championship round was won by Michigan.
- Total 2000 attendance: 3,268,473.
