Harry Warner played professional baseball from 1946 to 1962. He managed minor league teams from 1960 t0 1983, and was manager of the year his debut year when his Erie team won the New York-Pennsylvania League championship. He was recruited and groomed by Phil Houser, general manager of the Charlotte Hornets. Warner captained his high school basketball and baseball teams in his senior year. He played baseball at Muhlenberg College.
