William (Bill, Lefty) Albert Hansen is single and lives in Fresno, California per the 1949 California League Gold Book. His nationality is Danish-Dutch. He graduated from Fresno High School in 1946 and played baseball, basketball and football. He has attended Fresno State College for 3 years and will return to school at the end of this season. He was a member of the college baseball team for 2 seasons. He played semi-pro ball with the Atwater Packers. He tied for the lead in fielding average for first basemen with .984 in the 1948 Far West League.
