Drafted in 4th round (1967) by Atlanta Braves. In 1976, he was a player/coach with Richmond. Was a members of the Oakland A's major league coaching staff from 1984-86. He was third base coach for the Seattle Mariners, then was a roving minor league catching instructor from 1991-92 and 2000. Was an advance scout for the New York Yankees in 1997-99 and 2001. Was an advance scout for the Chicago Cubs in 2003-05.
His father is Melvin Didier.
