Robert (Moe, Nose) Albert Moniz is single and lives in San Leandro, California per the 1951 California League Gold Book (Third Edition). His nationality is Portuguese-Italian. He graduated from Hayward High School in 1944 and participated in baseball, football, track and boxing. He works for a packing company during the off-season. His hobbies are golf, movies, hunting, fishing and boxing. He is a co-holder of the California League record for most errors by an outfielder in one game. He served in the U. S. Navy for three years. He tied for the lead in triples with 13 in the 1948 California League. His father, Albert Moniz, caught for Sacramento and Vernon in the Pacific Coast League.
