Nance was agricultural reporter--called farm director--for WMT radio and television in Cedar Rapids from 1952 to 1973, and vice president of Vigortone, an animal nutrition company, from 1973 to 1990. Nance was agricultural reporter--called farm director--for WMT radio and television in Cedar Rapids from 1952 to 1973, and vice president of Vigortone, an animal nutrition company, from 1973 to 1990. He is a past president of the National Association of Farm Broadcasters and was inducted into the National Farm Broadcasting Hall of Fame in 2007[1].
