Ralph (Bubba) Henry Atkinson is single and lives in Miami Beach, Florida per the 1952 California League Gold Book (Fourth Edition). He graduated from Miami Beach High School in 1951 and participated in baseball, football and track. He is a construction worker during the off-season. He pitched semi-pro ball for the Miami Beach Kennel Club. His biggest thrill was pitching a no-hitter in semi-pro competition.
