  • Resided in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in 1953.
  • Self-identified as being of Irish-Indian ancestery.
  • During a spell of four games in 1951, when he was with the Chicago Cubs, he limited the opposition to 12 runs, but didn't gain one victory; the Cubs scored a total of four runs for him during that time.
