  • Led the 1939 Middle Atlantic League in two base hits with 42.
  • Tied for the lead in stolen bases with 40 in the 1947 Pacific Coast League.
  • Led the 1948 Pacific Coast League in runs scored with 133.
  • His greatest thrill came when San Diego fans voted him the most popular player in 1947 and along with the honor went an automobile.

  • Was in the insurance business during the off-season in 1952.
