Bruce Allardice note: Mark Rucker and John Freyer, "19th Century Baseball in Chicago" p. 13 provides more detail. It was a game on Aug. 6th between the Hunkidoris of Joliet and the Sleepers of Lockport. The authors cite "Baseball in Old Chicago" (1939), which in turn cites the Lockport Telegraph, date not given.
