Frank Volpi is married and has three children, Mary age 10, Joseph age 8 and Frank age 5. He lives in San Jose, California per the 1951 California League Gold Book (Third Edition). He graduated from San Jose High School and played baseball. He is a sheet metal worker during the off-season. He was chosen all-star catcher in the 1937 Western International League. He managed Globe-Miami in the first half in the 1949 Arizona-Texas League
