Gerald Conrad Dahms is single and lives in San Diego, California per the 1949 California League Gold Book. He graduated from San Diego High School in 1947 and participated in football, baseball, basketball and track. He was a member of the high school team that won the Southern Division baseball title. He attended San Diego Junior College for one year. He now attends the University Of Southern California during the off-season. His hobby is reading. He played semi-pro ball with Ryan Aircraft in San Diego. His biggest thrill in baseball to date was hitting a home un with two men on base to give his high school team the championship.
