Isolated Power (ISO) is the easiest stat used to measure a player's raw power.

It is Slugging Percentage minus Batting Average.

[edit] Formula

ISO = SLGAVG ISO=\frac{TB-H}{AB} ISO=\frac{2B+2\times 3B+3\times HR}{AB}

It essentially is the number of bases a player gains that are on extra base hits.
