Profile
- Jack was born in Havana, Cuba when his father Angel Aragon was playing winter ball. AngelAragon played 12 years in professional baseball during this time he played briefly in the majors for the New York Yankees.
- Jack broke into the professional ranks in 1937. From 1937-1940 he played on seven different minor league teams. During this time he received several major league signing offers. St.Louis Cardinals offer $250 the New York Giants offer $1000. Jack signs with the Giants.
- 1941 Jack makes the New York Giants roster and remains there for the season primarily as a bullpen catcher. On August 13th Jack finally gets into his first and only major league game for one inning with no at bat.
- Jack spends the next two years in the Coast Guard after his discharge he signs with the Minneapolis Millers of the American Association.
