• Resided in Portland, Oregon in 1952.
• Self-identified as being of Italian ancestry.
• Listed hobby as all sports.
• Got one hit in his first pro game with the Idaho Falls Russets of the 1946 Pioneer in Salt Lake City.
• Turned from the outfield to the mound in 1950 with Wenatchee of the Western International League.

• Attended Dawson, New Mexico High School.
• Made all state in 1939 and 1940 in basketball in high school.
