John T. Briggs is single and lives in Folsom, California per the 1952 Pioneer League Index. He graduated from Folsom High School in 1951 and played baseball and basketball. He is a mechanic's helper during the off-season. While pitching for the Folsom American Legion team he pitched two no-hitters against Placerville, fanning 20 batters in one game. • While pitching for Folsom American Legion Post he pitched two no-hitters against Placerville,

 fanning 20 batters in one game; in six games in 191 he struck out 113 in 54 innings allowing
 a total of only 16 hits.  

Achievements

• On may 23, 1952 he pitched a no-hit-no run game against Pocatello with a score of 8-0 in 9

 innings.

• Led the 1952 Pioneer League in bases on balls issued with 166.

Outside of baseball

• Was a mechanic's helper during the off-season.
