Mike Nelson was General Manager of the Peoria Chiefs (Midwest) in 1991 and 1992. He has since been GM with the Peoria Rivermen hockey team, and was General Manager of the US Cellular Coliseum in Bloomington, Illinois, through April, 2009[1]. In all these activities he's worked closely with John Butler, his predecessor as the Chiefs' GM.
