- Resided in Gardena, California in 1952 and 1953.
- Self-identified as being of Irish-Indian ancestry.

- Said in 1952 that early in his career he was a member of the Saint Louis Cardinals and his contract was assigned to 13 different clubs in one year.

Achievements
- Led the 1937 East Texas League in earned run average with 2.65, games won with 32 and strikeouts with 233.
- Led the 1948 Pacific Coast League in games won with 19.

- Was a railroad brakeman during the off-season in 1952.
Career notes
- Listed as "Inactive" for 1945 in the 1952 Pacific Coast League Thumbnail Sketches.
- Resigned as manager of Lubbock (West Texas-New Mexico League) on May 29, 1954 with a 9-20 record. He was replaced by Bill Metzig.[1]
