Some notes:

  • Brief historical & geographical overview (have a draft posted).
  • Prominent current players (a beginning's posted).
  • Hall of Famers (listed; a league with more of them would need to handle the list differently, methinks).
  • Founding, name changes, and other significant events.
  • Good teams.
  • Good player seasons.
  • Deacon Jones & Moe Hill.
  • Noteworthy on-field events (but there are ~150 no-hitters; how to handle?)


Suggestion for no-hitters and other notable events: we are currently thinking of organizing these on the individual season pages. Rarer events, like perfect games, might go in the main league article. -- drarbiter@gmail.com
