Ugueth Urbina played professional baseball from 1991 to 2005.
Currently, Ugueth Urbina is serving a 14 year prison sentence in Venezuela on charges of attempted murder and deprivation of liberty. Urbina attacked five workers on his family's ranch in Venezuela with a machete and attempted to set fire to the farm workers by means of pouring gasoline on them. While a dispute erupted over theft of a firearm, Urbina allegedly joined a group of men in illegally taking justice into his own hands in a dispute. [1]
