Garrett (Ben, Scotty) Benny Scott is married and has one son, Jeffrey age 3. He lives in Modesto, California per the 1952 California League Gold Book (Fourth Edition). He graduated from Modesto High School in 1948 and played baseball and football. He is a roofer during the off-season. His hobbies are hunting and fishing. He served in the U. S. Navy for 19 months. He led the 1950 Far West League in bases on balls issued with 187 and balks with 9. He tied for the lead in wild pitches with 17 in the 1950 Far West League. He holds the Far West League record in walks and balks.
