William (Bill, Willie) Rufus Bryant is single and lives in Yorba Linda, California per the 1949 California League Gold Book. He graduated from Fullerton High School in 1943 and was a member of the baseball, football, basketball and track teams. He is a graduate of Fullerton Junior College where he was a member of two championship teams in baseball. He stole 21 bases in 38 games and hit .433 one year. He played semi-pro ball for the Fullerton Lions and Lynwood Indians. He is a telephone lineman during the off-season. His hobbies are photography and house planning. His ambition is to play in a World Series. He served in the U. S. Army Corps for 26 months.
