William (Bill, Lefty, Dub) Vaughn Morris, Jr. is married and has one daughter, Shannon Lynne who is 18 months old. He lives in Ogden, Utah per the 1949 California League Gold Book. His nationality is English-Irish. He graduated from Ogden High School in 1943 and played baseball, football and basketball. He pitched a no-hitter in high school and batted in the only runs of the game. He attends Weber College during the off-season. His hobby is creative writing. He was in the U. S. Army Air Corps for three years.
