Bill Walters was a team and league executive in the Midwest League.

  • Walters owned Burlington Sporting Goods Co. for 31 years.
  • Walters was the son of Roxy Walters and the grandson of Bill Krieg.
  • He was President of Burlington (Midwest) from 1967 to 1973, and was the President of the Midwest League from 1974 to his death in 1986. Walters was serving on the executive committee of the National Association of Professional Baseball Leagues when he passed away.
