The Juneau "Daily Alaska Dispatch," April 8, 1907, mentions a 6-team Klondike League, which includes teams in Juneau, Skagway, Dawson, Fairbanks, Douglas City and Whitehorse. This appear to have been a semi-pro league, as the article mentions that the league is importing players from the lower '48.

The Fairbanks Daily News, June 18, 1908, says the Cheena baseball team challenges the California team of Fairbanks to a 9 inning game in Cheena, Sept. 21st. Cheena is adjacent to modern Fairbanks.

Same June 14, June 18, 1908 says the N.C. and A.B. teams of Fairbanks have been playing. The June 18th issue says the N.C.'s beat the A.B.'s 4 to 1 at Willow Park.
