The Juneau "Daily Record-Miner" May 17, 1904 reports in a lengthy article titled "Baseball in Alaska" on the several teams that played in last year's state tournament or will play in this year's tournament, including teams in Whitehorse, Dawson (which won last year), Skagway, Juneau, Treadwell, Douglas City and Ketchikan. The Fairbanks "Daily News-Miner," June 1, 1910, reports than in the annual three-cornered baseball tournament at Whitehorse, the Juneau club won over Whitehorse, Skagway and Douglas Island.
