The Daily Arkansas Gazette, May 23, 1875, notes “They have caught the base ball fever in Monroe County. Laurenceville and Indian Bay each have a club.”

Laurenceville is about 70 miles E of Little Rock; one website calls it "a populated place in Monroe County." Indian Bay is listed the same way.
