The Quincy Whig, May 19, 1868 says the Occidental Juniors of Quincy beat the Hawkeye Juniors 31-15 at Keokuk, IA May 18th.
Keokuk IA (1860 pop. about 8,000; 1870 pop. about 12,800) is on the Mississippi River. It is about 150 N of St. Louis MO and about 10 miles SW of Des Moines.
