The White Cloud "Kansas Chief" Aug. 5, 1869: "Base Ball Match--The second match game of base ball between the Occidentals of Falls City [NE] , and the Pioneers of White Cloud, came off at this place, on Saturday afternoon..." The Pioneers won in extra innings by 27.
