"The Northville [later Eclipse] club went on to play two more matches in the fall of 1867, defeating the 'Agrestic' Club of Farmington and . . ."
Farmington is a northern suburb of Detroit, about 20 miles from downtown. "Agrestic" apparently means rural/rustic/unpolished.
