We have several times alluded to the fact that a number of the young men of the city were in the habit of meeting on the green in front of Dr. Pattison's Church for a game of base ball. We notice with pleasure that a regular Club was formed last week under the following name, "The North Star Club of St. Paul." The following are the officers;

President: Cpt. R.C. Olin Vice-president: Spencer Treasurer: Geo. L. Farwell Secretary: J. Wilson Umpire: Cpt. J.G. Telford Scorer: Dr. T.R. Potts Board of Directors: Wm Wilson; Cpt. H.S. Bingham and Towner Bromley

The Club numbers about thirty members. We learn it is the intention of the Club to fix up the grounds for the accommodation of both ladies and gentlemen, who are cordially invited to witness their play. Their days for playing are Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday afternoons from 4 to 7 o'clock. The club goes to Phalon's Lake, by invitation of Messrs. Webb and Davis to play a match game. Look out for a good time.
