The (Nebraska City) Daily Nebraska Press, Aug. 27, 1868: The Otoe Base Ball Club is now being reorganized." Same Aug. 26, 1869 reports that the Otoe BBC has been challenged by the Omaha BBC.
Nebraska City NE (current pop. about 7300) is about 45 miles S of Omaha and in the SE corner of the state.
