Grand Forks Weekly Herald, June 26, 1879 says the Grand Forks Dakota Stars beat the Caledonia Boys of Caledonia yesterday 49-19 in Grand Forks.
Grand Forks ND (1880 population about 1,700) is about 80 miles from the Canadian border and about 75 miles N of Fargo ND.
Wikipedia adds: "Caledonia is a census-designated place in Traill County, North Dakota in the United States. A former boomtown of the 1870s and the era of the Hudson's Bay Company steamship trade, the community has now all but virtually disappeared. . . . A 2010 population of 39 was reported."
